SII is searching for Deputy Project Manager to support a Government Program Management office located in Emmitsburg, MD. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of 6 staff employees supporting FEMA's National Disaster & Emergency Management University (NMEDU).
• Ensure Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) deliver effective support in an educational/training environment.
• Assist the Project Manager in developing maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow processes.
• Monitor and report on a weekly volume of emails, postal mailings, faxes, phone calls, and applications to support monthly reporting efforts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to support the Project Manager across various tasks.
• Proven ability to manage tasks, track progress, and handle administrative aspects of program management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify issues and contribute to effective solutions.
• Experience providing professional customer support via telephone, email, and online platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Active Public Trust Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• FEMA experience preferred.
