Majestic Steel is looking to expand capacity within the Analytics Area to help manage its business intelligence and delivery platforms. We believe data should inform decision making across all functional areas of the company, and our associates should be empowered with insights, tools and training. In this role you will drive these values into practice by developing data models, KPI’s, dashboards, reporting and insights that are accurate and performant. The primary function of this role is to provide business intelligence to the organization through our analytics platform. The candidate will have a passion for data, analytics, technology, work well in collaboration with the entire team and be a motivated self-starter.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert on datasets, reporting tools and analytical solutions
- Develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions from raw data to deployment
- Identify more accurate ways of reporting, analyzing and communicating information and insights
- Build and maintain data agents to enable conversational experiences
- Sustain support for the portfolio of analytical solutions in production
- Provide training and support to end users to facilitate change management efforts and adoption
- Ensure governance, security, and compliance for models and agents
- Stay up to date with reporting tool updates and features to maintain best practices
- Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
Education, Training and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience creating reports, dashboards, and transforming large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions
- Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office products (esp. Excel) and Windows-based applications
- Organized and creative thinker, practical problem solver, with the ability to build relationships
- Strong data visualization skills using Power BI
- Skilled in preparing datasets using SQL
- Familiarity with Copilot including report generation, semantic model interaction, and DAX creation
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, professional appearance and presentation style
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server environment, SSAS within and/or equivalent Transactional Data Warehouse environment
- Advanced DAX knowledge preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Experience with Fabric Data Agent configuration, Fabric Notebooks, Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, LangChain

- Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting.
