Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.%26nbsp;%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;In the role of Senior Electrical Commissioning Agent, we%27ll count on you to:%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cdiv class=%22ExternalClass22E6507E540F404BB027FDCAC36D4329%22%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EBe the main contact between the client and HDR and direct and manage all Commissioning activities on the project%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAdhere to budgeted man-hours and execute commissioning services%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECoordinate with the client and contractors in scheduling the commissioning activities: develop pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, training plans, O%26amp;M, record document shop drawing reviews.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupport the TMT and Data Commissioning Team with focus on Electrical Commissioning efforts.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EUtilize all Commissioning experience within leadership.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExercise HDR policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing job duties and responsibilities.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform tasks with the necessary instrumentation and documentation needed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EUp to 65% (domestic) travel may be required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform other duties as needed%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EPreferred Certifications%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3ECIT Level 1%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ENFPA70E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOSHA 10/30%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ENETA%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp%3ELEED Accredited%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EPreferred Qualifications%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3E3+ years of Electrical Commissioning experience in the Mission Critical Data Center industry.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMust have led Tier 1/Tier 2 project work and be experienced with Level 1 (FWT/FAT) through Level 5 commissioning work.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with Functional Performance testing (FPT) along with Integrated System testing (IST) is required.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with the following equipment such as but not limited to, Medium Voltage transformers, Vista switchgear, Medium Voltage Switchboards, Generators, Low Voltage Switchboards, Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Static Transfer Switches (STS), Low Voltage transformers, Panelboards, Lighting control systems, is required.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience in leading daily commissioning meetings onsite to inform the customer, contractors, and vendors of progress, punch list items, and obstacles to overcome.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience updating the Project Manager of progress, projections, and hurdles such as, personnel, change orders, and timelines.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience training junior personnel during Functional Performance training, Integrated System training, and final report development is essential.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience in developing scripts, project schedules, and deliverables such as Commissioning Plans.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipating in kickoff meetings with clientele and HDR staff to discuss scheduling, milestones, deliverables, and execution is required.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMust have experience in writing executive summaries and final reports for delivery within the contractual deadline.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPreference given to local candidates%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDue to client contract requirements, US-born citizenship is required%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis position is subject to a preemployment drug test.%3Cbr%3E%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of industry experience dealing with mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines
  • Must be willing to travel to site-based locations as reasonably based on HDR needs
  • Must be an experienced engineer, either a licensed PE or a field technician with excellent understanding of MEP systems, HVAC controls, the T&B process, etc
  • Must have good computer skills and effective typing skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be familiar with the organization of design documents, the preparation of the multidiscipline designs, and the delivery of the design & construction services
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations
  • Understanding of project accounting and financial management tools
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work; ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
