Anakeesta is seeking a skilled Carpenter who is well-versed in using a variety of tools and can follow both written and verbal directions. Join the Anakeesta family, build your career, and discover the magic in the mountains! 

 

Your Responsibilities 

• Construct and repair new buildings and shop projects such as cabinets, signs, fencing, and shelving 

• Operate all types of power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently 

• Drive vehicles including 4-wheel drive and off-road vehicles as needed 

• Assist electricians, plumbers, and other trade personnel as required 

• Carry heavy construction materials, logs, and supplies 

• Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

What You Need 

• 21 years of age or older 

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience 

• Proficient communication skills 

• Familiarity with new construction plans 

• Skilled in finish work and detailed projects 

• Comfortable and experienced with hand and power tools 

• Valid driver’s license 

• Ability to work in all weather conditions 

• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary 

 

Physical Requirements 

• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.; push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl 

• Ability to stand for the majority of the day 

• Manual dexterity for hand tool use 

• Comfortable working at various heights 

• Able to walk and stand for long periods on uneven ground 

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
