Course Description: Crise du logement, rénovictions, loyers inabordables… Les médias regorgent d’articles sur le droit du logement, et pour cause. Cependant, il est aussi l’un des domaines les moins étudiés en droit québécois. Ce cours propose une approche collaborative afin d’encourager la participation active des étudiants à son développement.
Nous discuterons et approfondirons les éléments essentiels du droit de l’habitation, ainsi que les défis qui lui sont propres, et ce moyennant des méthodes d’apprentissage plus interactives. Les participants pourront ainsi développer leurs connaissances par le biais de laboratoires juridiques, des évaluations axées dans la pratique du droit et la présence de conférenciers invités. Nous clôturons la session par la remise et la présentation d’une note de recherche sur une question d’actualité dans le domaine.
TQR: At a minimum, a first degree in law. Several years of significant practice or professional experience, in the relevant area; Experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual setting.
