About the role:

We are looking for a Director of Environment Health & Safety to design and lead comprehensive programs that protect people and the planet across all company locations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in environmental and health performance. The Director partners with leaders and teams that are company-wide to implement strategic initiatives, strengthen sustainability efforts, and prepare the organization for future regulatory challenges. This is an on-site position working Monday – Friday at our Coon Rapids, MN location. This role will have 10-15% travel that is required. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
• Lead safety committees and training programs, fostering employee engagement and accountability.
• Oversee environmental compliance initiatives, including hazardous waste management and sustainability programs.
• Manage emergency preparedness plans, audits, and corrective actions to maintain certifications and readiness.

Educational Background and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations with proven compliance management experience.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across all organizational levels.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software systems.
