$87,708.00 - $122,792.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership
FT position available (40 Hours) Days Mon – Fri with on call responsibility
An exciting growth opportunity for a motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills interested in pursuing leadership in a busy procedural area. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) provides direct support to the Nurse Manager and is accountable for monitoring daily unit operations and activities, staffing, facilitation of and ability to provide clinical care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiologic procedures. Lead a diverse team of techs and nurses in both procedural and office-based work environments. Procedural area utilizes fluoroscopy, moderate sedation and anesthesia for a variety of procedures. Work together with inpatient and ambulatory leadership and administration to achieve departmental goals. Participates in the management of human resources, orientation, mentoring, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and monitoring patient outcomes. Accountable for supporting standards of care, contributes to goal achievement through personal action, effective communication and the facilitation of others. Responsibilities will include performance improvement initiatives, mentoring and participation in annual performance evaluations of staff. Requires a BSN from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 3-5 years of Acute RN experience in addition to recent formal leadership experience (Assistant Nurse Manager or equivalent).
