Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate therapist ready to make a difference? CPSFL presents an exciting opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services to join us for a full-time position.

The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of the Clinical Services Program. The position will have a primary focus on ensuring program quality, which includes program management and development as well as compliance with contractual and managed care standards through the use of data collection, evaluation and outcomes reporting.

Qualifications:   

  • Licensed Clinician with a Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or a related human service degree.
  • Minimum of three years working in the field with children, adolescents and families.
  • Minimum of two years experience with children with serious emotional disturbances, trauma, and abuse/neglect issues.

  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience with program management experience.
  • Qualified Clinical Supervisor or on track of becoming Qualified Clinical Supervisor in one of the following fields: Marriage and Family Counseling, Social Work, or Mental Health.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) with a Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or a related human service degree.
  • Qualified Supervisor with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.
  • Minimum of three years working in the field with children, adolescents and families.
  • Minimum of two years experience with children with serious emotional disturbances, trauma, and abuse/neglect issues.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience with program management experience.
  • Experience working successfully with managed care organizations.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team and to be flexible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with the budgetary process preferred.
  • Advanced computer knowledge (i.e. ability to create and utilize spreadsheets, track outcomes, and use schedules.)
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ORGANIZATION CULTURE: Promote the mission, values and vision of Community Partners of South Florida.
  • TEAM PLAYER: Become an integral part of the Clinical Management Team to help ensure the successful functioning of the Child and Family Mental Health service area.
  • LEADERSHIP: Provide leadership and oversight to Supervisors of Outpatient Department, Intake Department and Psychiatric Department.
  • EXTERNAL PARTNERS: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partnering agencies and funding sources.
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Monitor and manage budgetary goals for the program on weekly and monthly basis.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: $75,000 annually.
