The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces within the hotel, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. This includes lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, fitness areas, and other guest-facing spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, and other assigned areas.

  • Dust, polish, and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.

  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and maintain spotless glass and mirrors.

  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

  • Refill supplies such as restroom toiletries and paper products.

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain excellent customer service.

  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

  • Follow hotel safety, security, and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Assist in special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning schedules as directed.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in work.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift.

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
