SUMMARY
The Community Health Program Associate (CHPA) will provide direct administrative support across Foodlink Community Health Programs, which include the Curbside Market, Community Health Education, Food-Based Healthcare and Benefits Navigation. The CHPA will fulfill critical administrative tasks in a timely fashion, with key activities spanning across the department.
The CHPA will have a strong understanding of Foodlink’s mission and the goals of the Community Health Programs. S/he will have familiarity with the communities and neighbors that the CHP team serves. In addition, the CHPA will be a strong team-player, working across the department with various managers and staff members to increase program efficiency. S/he will have strong communication, multi-tasking, critical thinking and organizational skills, the ability to collaborate well, and an understanding of the importance of elevating community voices and needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support for Community Health Programs (20%)
- Schedule and coordinate meetings; this includes room setup, IT support, and maintaining/sending meeting minutes as needed.
- Submit design requests and order supplies for the department as needed.
- Partner with Development and Finance team to track and report on grant spending.
- Develop an understanding of CERES and other key IT systems at Foodlink.
Support Curbside Market and Customer Service Efforts (50%)
- Support the CHP team with developing and managing materials (schedules, site flyers, order sheets. etc).
- Generate weekly Curbside Market site data.
- Generate and publish Curbside Market site flyers using Canva.
- Notify sites of any changes including cancellations in a timely manner.
- Maintain Curbside Market contact list.
- Enter and track all requests (Curbside Market, Nutrition Education, special events tabling requests) into designated CHP tracker.
- Schedule weekly Textedly messages, replying to customer inquiries regularly.
- Collect information for Curbside Market monthly newsletter and publish monthly using Constant Contact.
- Collaborate with 1115 Waiver team and Curbside Market Manager to help coordinate and execute voucher/pack/box preparation and deliveries.
- Create Curbside Market and 1115 Waiver vouchers in tandem with team, and track accordingly as instructed when needed.
Provide direct administrative support to Community Advisory Committee and Curbside Market Ambassador program (20%)
- Assist Chief Impact Officer in development of Community Advisory Committee.
- Provide direct support to team of Curbside Market Ambassadors and volunteers, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to work in their communities; this includes outreach materials, gear, transportation to in-person meetings/workshops, answer questions and concerns.
- Process all necessary forms for Ambassador stipends.
- Coordinate Committee meetings and maintain/distribute minutes.
Provide administration support for Community Health Education team (10%)
- Support Benefit Navigation Team in implementing outreach efforts and documentation.
- Confirm Recipes and Resources sites; generate and email flyers to site partners. Notify Marketing & Development of events.
- Confirm registration, participation, and transportation for in-store workshops as needed.
- Maintain partner resource guide/resource validation as needed.

QUALIFICAIONS

- Agile. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to evolving needs and priorities. With support from their supervisor, they will be able to prioritize a variety of needs across Community Health Programs and the people that use our services.

Preferred candidates will also have:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in community engagement and outreach. Familiarity with the community in which the work will take place is preferred.
- Ability to clearly communicate (speak, read and write proficiently) in English. Ability to clearly communicate (speak, read and write proficiently) in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
- Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends.
- Ability to transport/move supplies and equipment, climb stairs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability and willingness to work with diverse audiences and maintain cultural sensitivity.
- Experience with windows-based software including use of the internet and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams; Google Suite, and Canva.
- Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and with cultural competence through verbal, written and electronic methods.
- Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines, requirements, and priorities to complete work in a timely manner and within established deadlines.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel within Foodlink’s 10 county service area

SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full time, year-round position, paid $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience. Foodlink covers 100% of individual health and dental insurance with the ability to acquire family coverage with pretax dollars. In addition to generous paid time off (PTO), we observe 14 paid holidays throughout the year. Opportunity to contribute to a 401k retirement savings plan upon hire. Eligible for generous employer match after 1 year of service.
