Civmec has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated HR / IR Manager to join our team at our Henderson-based corporate office. Reporting directly to the Group Manager HR/IR, you will play a key role in delivering operational HR/IR services across all of our business units. This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll support strategic initiatives, mentor and lead a dedicated team, and help shape the future of our workforce.

The Role
Key accountabilities will include:
• Manage the day-to-day HR/IR operations with a strong operational focus
• Support managers through advice, procedures, and training to ensure they understand the HR and IR framework
• Ensure strict adherence to established systems and processes within group frameworks
• Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of HR/IR procedures and systems to ensure consistency and compliance with legislation
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the HR/IR team
• Engage with our people, across sites and other locations and support HR/IR delivery
About You
About you
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior Human Resources role
• Prior experience in a contractor environment within a similar industry
• Committed to partnering with operations and making a positive impact by recognising how effective HR practices can influence site performance
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, especially in complex and sensitive matters
• Thorough knowledge of Industrial Relations and the Fair Work Act
• A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow professionally while contributing to a forward-thinking team
