PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

A. ADMINISTRATIVE:

  • Maintains Health Record System according to Federal, State, and Companyregulations and policies.
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary working environment.

B. SUPERVISORY:

  • Meets unit work goals through assignment of staff to resident care needs.
  • Monitors staff performance through coaching and praising.
  • Recognizes effective performance (or) takes direct corrective action after coaching/counseling as needed.

C. CONSUMER SERVICE:

  • Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior, and speech.
  • Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
  • Ensures that all consumer and resident rights are protected.

D. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English for business necessity.
  • Administrative and organizational abilities necessary.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Prior Health Record experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
