JOB SUMMARY:
The Library Aide helps make the LLC inclusive and welcoming by greeting patrons, managing material and requests, and providing support to faculty, students and staff. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate circulation and printing systems
• Serve patrons (account management, research/material requests)
• Help with library projects
• Other duties as assigned  

Requirements

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE:

• Previous office work experience
• Customer service skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous office work experience is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires working at a computer, typing, sitting, and standing. 

This position requires use of office equipment such as computers, printers, telephones, copiers, adding machines, fax machines, and scanners.
