Summary/Objective
The Manager, Events plays a crucial role in bringing to life IFT meetings and events, including the success of IFT FIRST annual event and expo. This position involves managing various aspects of strategic event planning and execution, including managing relationships with vendors, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing the overall exhibitor experience. To ensure IFT�s numerous meetings and events are memorable, timely, and within budget, this role will require meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and strong financial acumen.

Essential Responsibilities
� Collaborates with IFT designated registration provider and oversees the entire event registration process, including the registration website, policies, pace reporting, and all customer service components
� Serves as a key collaborator with a cross-functional team responsible for ensuring IFT FIRST exhibitor and attendee satisfaction
� Oversees the on-site registration process, including managing personnel and working with the VP, Meeting & Exhibit Experiences to secure registration temp staffing
� Effectively manages assigned budget areas and proactively addresses budgetary concerns to maintain financial integrity across all activities
� Serves as primary point of contact for exhibitor registration and appropriately resolves issue as they arise
� Manages the IFT FIRST event signage process, working collaboratively with IFT staff members and vendor partners, ensuring accuracy in signage orders and set up
� Serves as team lead for exhibitor engagement, working closely with the VP, Meeting & Exhibit Experiences to support logistics, understand communication needs, and coordinate strategic approaches
� Establishes and manages exhibitor timelines, oversees reporting, and ensures alignment across teams to deliver a seamless exhibitor experiences
� Oversees the Exhibitor Advisory Group meetings, including plans, key outcomes, and reporting in coordination with Vice President, Sales and VP, Meeting & Exhibit Experiences
� Leads the implementation and management of attendee tracking tools, such as beacons or sensors, ensuring accurate data collection and meaningful insights while bringing together a cross-functional team to ensure effectiveness
� Works closely with VP, Meeting & Exhibit Experiences to implement event/meeting surveys, generate analysis and insights, and share findings with key stakeholders
� Ensures compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices, and adherence to company processes and procedures

Travel Required
� Occasional domestic travel is expected including the ability to attend occasional evening, weekend, and overnight meetings

Required Education and Experience
� Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent
� 5+ years of experience or demonstrated competency in meetings or exhibit management
� 5+ years of experience or demonstrated competency in project management
� 5+ years of experience or demonstrated competency in using and managing database systems

Preferred Experience
� Experience with a health or scientific organization
� Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation
� Prior experience in hotel or tradeshow management
� Prior experience in association meetings and events

Other Duties
This position, and all others at IFT, may be modified at any time. To ensure operational efficiency and meet the changing needs of our customers and our Business, other duties may be assigned as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $73,000 to 85,000 Per Year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
