Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking an Manager, Nursing - Complex care to join the team. The Manager, Nursing is responsible for creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement. The role is influential in creating a professional environment and fostering a culture where interdisciplinary team members are able to contribute to optimal patient outcomes and grow professionally. Leads, develops and manages team members employing mentorship and providing opportunities for growth. In addition, the Manager, Nursing establishes and maintains an environmental control plan, coordinates materials management for the department, and assists in monitoring clinical activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- 3 years nursing experience in an acute care, inpatient rehab or outpatient rehab setting
- Leadership or supervisory experience
Preferred
- 3 years previous leadership experience
- At least 5 years clinical experience is preferred. Supervisor experience preferred
Education/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
- Virginia RN License in good standing
- AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse preferred
