The Fleet Technician I performs operations, technical and administrative duties for the Fleet Services Section.
The most important and essential job function of the position is attitude which includes the following: interacting positively and cooperating with co-workers, responding politely to customers, working as a team member, functioning under intense time pressure and responding in a positive manner to supervision.
The Fleet Technician I shall perform any other duties and tasks that may be required and shall have the physical, mental and emotional abilities to perform the essential job duties of the position.

- Work flexible hours
- High School or GED
- ASE Certification preferred
- Florida driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Must attain sixteen (16) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on an annual basis
- Two (2) years’ documented experience in the automotive repair or body collision repair shop vocational field. Years of experience can be waved in lieu of ASE Certifications by Fleet Administrator
