Strategic EI Sales & Service Professional
Your main responsibilities
Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving business growth? Schindler, a global leader in elevator and escalator solutions, is looking for a National Key Account & Sales Manager to join our high-performing team. This is your chance to make a real impact in an industry relied upon by two billion people every day. We are open to location but would consider applications from candidates based near either our Bathgate, Warrington, Coventry or Addlestone Offices. This is a full time and permanent role
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving New Business: Identify and progress national opportunities to achieve ambitious sales and profit targets.
- Key Account Growth: Protect and expand key accounts through targeted growth initiatives and upselling Schindler’s digital services.
- Strategic Support: Partner with the Key Account Team on complex contracts and large tenders, ensuring seamless execution.
- Customer Engagement: Revisit and nurture existing and past customer relationships, leveraging key contacts to influence business decisions.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring trends, economic indicators, and competitor strategies to inform pricing and sales approaches.
- Risk Management: Work closely with QS and Legal teams to mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance.
- Presentations & Visits: Deliver impactful presentations and maintain regular customer visits to strengthen relationships.
- Commercial Excellence: Monitor and manage discount levels, and actively contribute to budgeting and forecasting for national sales.
- Compliance & Safety: Uphold Schindler’s core values and safety standards, attending all relevant training and ensuring work aligns with company policies.
What you bring
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ Years in sales role, ideally in lift industry.
- Proven ability to motivate and drive performance in a sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in identifying new business and developing a robust sales pipeline.
- Strong business acumen and a self-starter mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
