Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking for a driven Senior Accountant to join the team of the North American HQ in Troy, MI.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting transactions resulting in accurate general ledger postings and prep work for the financial statements.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Required to adhere to applicable TS16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Responsible for invoice and payment processing.
- Will determine vendor payment schedule based on cash requirements.
- Responsible for generating wire, ACH transfers to vendors and monthly state use tax payments.
- Responsible for vendor and customer management NAFTA Region.
- Responsible for vendor discrepancy resolutions.
- Responsible for administrating third party expense reporting software – Concur.
- Responsible for reconciliation of corporate credit card transactions.
- Responsible for inter-company balance reconciliation for US Regions.
- Responsible for inter-company billing and invoice processing
- Responsible for filing multiple state monthly use taxes
- Responsible to post general ledger transactions
- Supports quarterly and annual financial reporting to parent company.
- Supports annual audit for external and internal stakeholders.
- Support the BU Manager of Accounting with ad-hoc projects.

- Salary range is $70,000- $100,000. Specific salary is commensurate with experience and factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications and licenses, skills, and training.
