Job Title: Banquet Captain

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports to: Banquet Manager

The Banquet Captain is responsible for coordinating the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role works closely with the Banquet Manager, culinary team, and banquet servers to ensure all functions are executed according to resort standards and guest expectations. The Banquet Captain leads by example, fostering teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts (typically 8+ hours) to respond quickly to guest needs and support operational flow.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 75 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and moving of banquet equipment and furniture.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to loud noise, busy environments, and temperature variations (indoor/outdoor event spaces).
