We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our Accounting Department. The position involves full-cycle accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of our non-profit, membership-based, medical clients.

Responsibilities:- Lead quarterly and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of clients.
- Prepares and reviews financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Analyzes financial data, identifies trends and provides actional insight to management and client directors.
- Contributes to the design and enhancement of internal controls and oversight of financial systems.
- Support Treasury functions, including budgeting, cash management and cash forecasting.
- Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Serve as a team leader by promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the accounting team.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on financial and operational initiatives impacting clients and internal operations.
- Bachelor or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA strongly preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting for multiple clients in a professional services or outsourced accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close processes, reconciliations, financial statement preparation and budgeting/variance analysis.
- Proven ability to manage accounting for multiple clients simultaneously, including preparing financial reporting packages, client communications, and ensuring timelines and accuracy of deliverables.
- Advanced QuickBooks experience required; knowledge of other accounting systems a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, work independently and ability to prioritize competing deadlines while collaborating across internal teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues and interact effectively with all levels of management and clients.
