POSITION SUMMARY
The VP, Treasury Management Officer, will work closely with CDO’s, Retail Banking personnel, and the Lending teams to assist in generating new business from existing and prospective clients. The incumbent will be responsible for consulting with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering treasury management, and deposit product solutions to business clients. Excellent sales and product skills are required, as well as general business banking, treasury management, and deposit product solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Assess, critique, enhance and develop existing treasury management program.
- Execute sales strategies to support the Bank’s growth in treasury management and deposits.
- Develop and implement customer transition plans to ensure holistic customer integration of products.
- Coordinate treasury management implementation and support which includes managing all elements of the treasury management sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis and close of sale.
- Partner with CDO’s, the Lending and Retail Branch managers to expand and support customer deposit growth.
- Partner with Operations to maintain and develop strong competitive product offering to RCB’s clients.
- Manage risk associated with products and services.
- Develop an effective marketing plan and manage and grow existing portfolios.
- Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive environment and service issues.
- Provide a superior level of customer relations and service and ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures as well as State and federal regulations.
- Assume ownership and management of all Treasury Management agreements.
- Provide ongoing training on Treasury Services offerings.
- Assist with audit responsibilities for Treasury Management product line.
- Develop and prepare monthly reports for senior management
- Actively support and promote a culture of change and ensure day-to-day service quality is maintained.
- Build and develop strong, productive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, compliance and cost management.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- B.S. in Business, Marketing, Sales or relevant discipline – required
- Minimum of 5 years in Treasury Management services.
- Exceptional consulting and presentation skills; ability to probe and listen to help clarify inquiries.
- Ability to identify operational efficiency and/or risk mitigation solutions, gather and present data to advance sales opportunity.
- Strong knowledge of Business/Commercial Banking.
- Ability to develop new business from a variety of leads.
- Proven sales call experience with ability to provide quality relationship-oriented solutions to meet customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve and troubleshoot challenging issues.
- Exceptional networking and relationship building skills; demonstrated expertise and success in treasury management solutions and sales process.
- Highly effective communication and influencing skills.
- Self-directed and goal oriented.
- Proven organizational and time management skills. Ability to effectively multitask, complete assignments and meet deadlines.
- Positive/can-do attitude with focus on teamwork.
- Working knowledge of COCC preferred.
