Who Does This Role Report Into? Associate Director - Sustainability
Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
In this role, you will make an authentic, positive change; contributing to the impressive work our Facilities Managers, Building Managers and Surveyors carry out across our clients’ assets. You will promote our values and work closely with our Sustainability Managers and Data Analysts; supporting the delivery of impact and social value initiatives, conducting site visits, writing impact reports, and sharing what you’ve learnt.
Skills, Knowledge and Values
- Actively improve the development of MAPPs sustainability and social value services
- Contribute to team meetings and projects
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders
- Have knowledge of carbon emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3) management, reporting and monitoring (desirable but not essential)
- Understand and have experience implementing Social Value and biodiversity initiatives
- Have experience working withing a Sustainability team
- Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with MAPP policies and procedures and the relevant legislative framework

Experience and Salary
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4-9 or A*-C) (essential)
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4-9 or A*-C) (essential)
- Relevant degree or equivalent in sustainability, environmental studies, social studies or related field (desired)
- Experience in a similar role including work experience, internships or volunteering (desired)
- Good written and spoken communication, with attention to detail
- Works well in a team, with a collaborative mindset and ‘can do’ attitude
- Shows initiative and works to problem solve
- Administration and organisation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint etc.)
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills
- Familiarity with sustainability, social value and impact reporting concepts
Working Hours: 30 hours per week working across 4 days
Salary Range (Based on Experience)
£22,400 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
