Responsibilities of a Body Shop Alignment and Frame Technician entail:
- Accurately measure frames for mash, side sway, collapse, and diamond conditions
- Complete alignments, section frames at factory specked areas, repair or replace defective mechanical parts
- Repair, replace, and/or straighten frame rails. Straighten bent frames with frame straightening machine to factory specifications
- Visually inspect parts after processing for defects. Identify nonconforming or defective components and take appropriate corrective action
- Balance wheel assembly and apply weights as necessary
- Operate a wheel polishing machine utilizing compound, buffing pads and a control panel
- Communicate with parts personnel to order correct parts for the repair
- Clean and treat wheels using a pressurized washer
- Perform routine maintenance on polishing machines, including daily cleaning and routine lubrication
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
The requirements to be a Body Shop Alignment and Frame Technician:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Relatable experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card
