THE ROLE

As a technical trainer, you are responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Writes literature and materials to be used in programs and designs exercises to enhance lectures. Conducts classes regarding safety, security, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment.

 
OPPORTUNITIES
  • Validating the training-related exercises to work on various platforms, across various releases of our product.
  • On need basis, to deliver other technical trainings which include Java, JavaScript, etc.
  • Do R&D and ramping up on the new Platform features and preparing the technical related content
  • Coordinate with various teams and investigate & validate any technical issues while ramping up
  • Ability to produce and deliver effective and compelling presentations with a business case.
  • Evaluate certifications as required.
  • Conduct and/or manage training needs analyses efforts to uncover specific training requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Incorporate feedback from employee surveys and direct employee feedback into the technical coursework and training offerings.
  • Continuously identify process improvements related to training development functions.
  • Must be organized, proactive, and assertive and demonstrate initiative.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Requires excellent one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills
 
SKILLS
  • Overall, 5+ years and 2+ years of relevant experience working with technical teams within a software organization.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead training initiatives with little direction.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Passion for learning, increasing employee capability, and achieving business results through people development.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, teamwork, negotiation, presentation, teaching, and proactive organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding established goals on a consistent basis.
  • Experience in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Cordova, Log4j, consuming XML, SOAP, JSON web services, and MVC or MVVM architectures
  • Client-server architecture, Docker, GIT, SVN, MySQL.
  • Experience in using any of the web/application servers (Tomcat, JBOSS, Weblogic, or Websphere).
  • Should be able to deploy applications to web/application servers.
  • Should be able to debug through the web/application server logs.
  • Should be able to investigate through the application logs and identify issues.
  • Must be a very good self-learner and quick learner.
  • By referring to the various available documentation.
  • By implementing POC, sample applications.
