The School of Nursing, part of the College of Health and Education, is a vibrant and growing team based across our Mandurah and Perth campuses. We support over 1,500 students through our Bachelor of Nursing and expanding postgraduate programs. Your New Role!
We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer in Nursing to join our team at our South Street Campus. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in scholarly research and develop professional expertise that will have a lasting impact on the nursing profession.
Our ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Registration and possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will engage in innovative and impactful scholarly research that advances the field of nursing and contributes to the body of knowledge in healthcare.
As the Lecturer in Nursing, you will develop and enhance your professional expertise, staying at the forefront of nursing practices and advancements. You will foster an inspiring learning environment that encourages students to excel in their academic and professional pursuits. Collaboration with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the evolving needs of the nursing profession is essential.

This Fixed Term (12 Months) | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $111K – $131K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.
A completed master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating achievement of AQF Level 9 learning outcomes.
Proven experience in nursing education, with positive feedback from student and colleague.
A commitment to evidence-based teaching and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary approaches to curriculum and pedagogy related to nursing education.
Readiness for contributing to discipline related scholarship, grant applications and peer reviewed publications, either independently or as part of a research team.
