What You Can Expect

  • As a Cloud Engineering Intern, you will join our Global Enterprise Infrastructure team and play a vital role in shaping, developing, and optimizing both Cloud and On-Premises systems. This internship provides you with the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in the areas of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, contributing to meaningful projects that enhance operational efficiency and foster innovation throughout the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cloud and on-premises infrastructure projects that improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Work on containerization for High-Performance Computing (HPC) and related automation efforts.
  • Help design workflows that integrate with CI/CD pipelines and enhance infrastructure automation.
  • Support cloud cost optimization, monitoring, and alerting initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews, bug fixes, and performance improvement discussions.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical workflows for smooth operations.
  • Research and experiment with emerging cloud and DevOps tools to enhance reliability and automation.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Software Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in Java, C++, or Shell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud fundamentals - virtualization, containers, and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Adaptable to work in Linux environments and familiar with basic networking concepts.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD concepts, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) through coursework or projects.
  • Experience using Git or similar version control tools for collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset, curiosity to learn, and enthusiasm for building scalable, automated systems.
