Position Overview & Why Work Here

Panther Life Sciences proprietary dissolvable microneedle array patch (MAP) technology, is bridging the worlds of therapeutics and beauty, redefining how skin health can be enhanced and maintained.

We are seeking a General Manager, Skin Health and Beauty (GM) to lead our skin health and beauty business, a strategic vertical within Panther poised for extraordinary growth. This individual will build and scale a world-class brand that integrates science, innovation, and beauty, taking skin health products from concept to market.

The GM will have full P&L responsibility, define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, drive the roadmap, and recruit and lead a team focused on licensing, in-sourcing, and partnerships. This is a rare opportunity to build the “iPhone of Beauty,” a category-defining product experience that combines efficacy, innovation, and design.

You are as comfortable analyzing product efficacy as you are crafting brand strategy. You bring curiosity about science and engineering, deep respect for design and customer experience, and an instinct for building lasting strategic partnerships. You understand what it takes to lead, build, and manage a successful business, team, products, and profits, with optimism, creativity, and commercial rigor.

This role will be based in New York City and will require occasional business travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead Panther Life Sciences as a high-growth business unit, owning full P&L responsibility and reporting directly to the CEO.

• Develop and execute the GTM strategy, including branding, partnerships, and distribution — either through in-house development or alliances with leading beauty companies.
  License or in-source products and compounds to rapidly accelerate market entry and innovation pipeline.

• Establish and nurture strategic relationships across the skin health, cosmetics, and CPG industries to secure supply chain, branding, and commercial partnerships.

• Recruit and lead a high-performing team in GTM, business development, and brand strategy.

• Collaborate closely with Panther’s VP of R&D to align on scientific innovation, formulation priorities, and consumer insights.

• Support capital raising efforts for Panther Life Sciences by representing the business strategy and market opportunity to investors.

• Define KPIs and drive measurable success, including products launched, customer satisfaction, revenue, profitability, and equity value creation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in the Skin Health, Beauty, or related sectors (e.g., Cosmetics, Pharma, Biotech, or CPG).

• Proven success leading or closely partnering on go-to-market strategies for high-impact consumer or scientific products.

• Direct or indirect P&L ownership with demonstrated business growth results.

• Experience managing or building strategic partnerships with top-tier brands or suppliers.

• Track record of launching or commercializing disruptive, sector-leading products.

• Strong business network within Cosmetics, Beauty, or CPG industries.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

• Deep curiosity about science and technology, coupled with a passion for customer experience and innovation.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology; MBA from a leading institution

• Experience mentoring or managing talented, high-performance teams.

• Exposure to or prior work with startups or founders in high-growth environments.

• International experience, particularly in Europe (France, Germany) or Asia (Korea, Japan, China).

• High integrity, resilience, and ability to thrive under high expectations in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting.
