We are seeking a Vice President of Strategy for Compute Products for our Brooklyn Park, MN, Broomfield CO, or Albuquerque NM location.
 
In this role you will be responsible for growth and maturation in four key areas:
Developing, communicating, deploying, and collaboratively executing a strategic plan for the Compute Products Business to align goals to drive growth and ensure long-term success of the Compute Products business.
Developing and documenting technology roadmaps and identifying global partnerships to accelerate reduce the cost of execution.
Being a point person for answering inbound questions related to Compute Products from key stakeholders, partners and investors.
Have hands-on responsibility for establishing and executing strategic projects to draw maximum leverage for the Compute Products business.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Strategic Planning:
Aggregating inputs from multiple sources, including market data, industry trends, and Quantinuum Strategic plan, you will be responsible for developing, communicating and deploying Compute Products Strategic Plan.   
Identify KPIs and metrics that track our performance on and the impact of key strategic objectives to ensure long-term success and to drive growth
You will be accountable that strategic plan is executed with high say:do ratio.
Working with offering management, you will align Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) with the strategic plan.
 
Technology Roadmap and Partnership identification:
Working with technical leaders you will develop, document and maintain multi-year hardware technology roadmaps for Compute Products
Along with technical leaders and strategic sourcing, you will identify key partnerships necessary for executing on our roadmap. 
You will work cross-functionally and globally to develop regional strategies for accelerating our technology roadmaps and growth of compute products.
Working across the business, you will champion and maintain business and technical relationships with the partners.  You will influence the nature of the relationship which may include development agreements, acquisitions, investments or other means of forging the relationship
Working with cross-functional teams in facilities, strategic sourcing, and HR you will communicate and align Compute Products roadmaps, plans, and targets with key internal stakeholders and partners.
You will be accountable for working with PMO to translate the roadmap into execution and identifying key decision points and pivot points.
You will look for, champion, and lead the pursuit of synergistic development efforts and external funding to supplement the execution of our strategic plans.
 
Investor and Stakeholder Communications:
You will be the primary point of contact for working with Investor Relations in addressing any in-bound requests relevant to Compute Products from investor community, stakeholders, media, and working with Marketing and Comms teams for formulating and approving out-bound communications and messaging
Occasionally you may be asked to present to, host, or visit investors, stakeholders, or key partners to share updates and plans.
 
Strategic Projects:
You will have direct hands-on management of key strategic projects and will be accountable to ensure the outcome of the project maximally benefits the Compute Products business and aligns with our strategies.
You will be responsible for directly communicating and coordinating with the strategic partners and the performing teams
You will be responsible for working with Legal teams on any agreements (IP, commercial, etc) prior and throughout the project
You will be responsible for establishing KPIs to measure the execution and success of the projects.
Significant travel (up to 50%) may be required, including to international locations

Compensation & Benefits: 
Incentive Eligible – Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable 
The pay range for this role is $300,000 – $375,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role. 


Basic Qualifications:
  • 15 years work experience (post education) in high technology with a mix of technical and business positions or responsibilities 
  • Maters or PhD in technical field
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen. 


  • We Value:
  • Ph.D in physics, applied physics, optics, or an engineering field preferred.
