Position / Job Summary
The Global Scientific Liaison plays a key client-facing role supporting Frontage’s Bioanalytical (BioA) and Central Lab services. This position will learn and understand the internal laboratory testing platforms, workflow, and scientific capabilities, and effectively communicate these to clients to facilitate business growth. The incumbent will collaborate closely with Business Development (BD) and scientific leaders to prepare capability presentations, respond to technical inquiries, and support marketing and client engagement efforts. The role requires bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English, a strong understanding of clinical and bioanalytical testing, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks including FDA, CAP, CLIA, EMA, and NMPA.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Scientific Communication & Client Interface.
- Serve as a scientific representative to communicate Frontage’s technical capabilities in Central Lab and BioA services (including PK and PD Biomarkers, Immunogenecity assays using LC-MS and LBA methods, flow cytometry, genomic services, and other cell functional assay/platforms) to global clients.
- Learn and understand Frontage’s laboratory platforms, testing setup, and scientific service offerings across regions.
- Support proposal discussions and scientific presentations with sponsors and partners.
- Prepare, refine, and deliver capability PowerPoint materials and other client-facing content in collaboration with BD and marketing teams.
- Participate in client meetings and teleconferences to provide scientific input and build strong client relationships.
- Business Development Support.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Bioanalysis and Central Lab Test Compendium.
- Work closely with Business Development teams to align scientific messaging with client needs.
- Provide technical insights for RFPs, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that expand global awareness of Frontage’s Central Lab and BioA capabilities.
- Support the preparation of scientific publications, white papers, and conference materials as needed.
- Regulatory & Quality Awareness.
- Maintain working knowledge of global regulatory standards relevant to laboratory testing (FDA, CAP, CLIA, EMA, NMPA).
- Ensure all client-facing communication accurately reflects compliance and scientific rigor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Skills Required
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Central Lab or Bioanalytical Lab supporting clinical trials.
- Proven ability to interface scientifically with sponsors, investigators, and laboratory teams.
- In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements (FDA, CAP, CLIA, EMA, NMPA).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (required).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment.
