Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician Trainee (Denture Model) opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- Bead and Pour impressions
- Base models
- Trim models
- Set bites
- Articulate models
- Pour and jig cases to be relined
- Make duplicate models
- Pushing and pulling cart of work around work area.
- All fabrication steps and applicable tools are outlined in the Technical Team Policies. Insure all steps are followed, to provide consistent, accurate results.
- Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work to the next technician.
- Trouble shoot and problem solve, using past experience and success to gauge best steps on future cases.
- Maintain a clean work area
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions
- High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work
- Ability to effectively communicate with all team members during the buyer-seller transactions as well as communicating to members of the technical support team, members of management, and the training team
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve using past experience and successes to gauge best steps for future cases
- Verification in all applicable Technical Team Policies (TTPs) and the ability to apply knowledge from Technical Team Policies (TTPs) to the job.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No experience required
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
- Sharp instruments, knives and blades
- Motorized Lathe
- Dental Handpiece
- Butane Torch
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time
- Repeated bending and kneeling
- Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
- Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds
