We’re seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our surgical care team. This position offers a dynamic, hands-on opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while supporting a skilled clinical team. Occasional travel between our three locations—Hoover, Jasper, and Clanton—is required, with all travel time fully compensated.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions.
- Administer and monitor local and IV sedation under physician direction.
- Assess patient conditions and adapt to changing clinical needs with professionalism and efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and uphold all privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the overall flow of the practice.
- Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a team-first attitude in a fast-paced surgical setting.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of one year of experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused demeanor.
- Interest in or experience with oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures preferred.
- Willingness to cross-train and assist with front office or clinical support tasks when needed.
