Porter Scott, Sacramento’s premier civil litigation firm, is seeking motivated and intellectually curious law students to join our Summer Associate Program.

Our program is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to civil litigation in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Summer Associates will have the opportunity to work directly with attorneys at all levels, draft substantive legal documents, attend depositions and court hearings, and gain real-world experience in a firm committed to excellence, mentorship, and professional growth.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have completed at least one year of law school 

• Possess strong legal research and writing skills

• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a genuine interest in litigation

• Thrive in a team-oriented culture and enjoy working with people
