As Divisional Commercial Controller, Bakery Products, you will play a pivotal role at both European and global levels, shaping the financial direction and supporting strategic decision-making across the Bakery Products division.
At the European level (70%), you act as the strategic finance partner to the General Manager Europe, and you are an integral member of the European Management Team. You will help define and drive the financial and strategic agenda for the European Bakery Products business, ensuring that decisions are grounded in robust analysis and forward-looking insights.
At the divisional/global level (30%), you will support the Financial Planning & Performance Manager Bakery Products in global business partnering activities. This includes leading key divisional processes such as target setting, budgeting, and reporting, while coordinating the Commercial Controller Community to foster alignment and best-practice sharing across regions.
This dual scope offers a unique opportunity to combine regional execution with global strategic influence — positioning you as a key contributor to the success and continued growth of the Bakery Products division.
Your key responsibilities and challenges are:
- European Leadership Responsibilities (70%)
- Act as a strategic finance partner to the General Manager Europe and a full member of the European Management Team.
- Shape and monitor the financial outlook of the European business, identifying growth opportunities, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide clear, forward-looking insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Lead the European reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Evaluate business cases for investments, ensuring solid financial foundations.
- Partner with commercial, logistics, and industrial controllers to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Divisional/Global Responsibilities (30%)
- Support the Financial Planning & Performance Director in divisional-level commercial business partnering.
- Contribute to target setting, budgeting, monthly reporting, and performance reviews at divisional/global level.
- Coordinate the Commercial Controller Community, fostering knowledge sharing and alignment across countries and regions.
- Support divisional initiatives, process optimization, and enhancements in performance analysis.

Are you the one we’re looking for?
- Master’s degree in Business Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business controlling, FP&A, or finance business partnering.
- Proven ability to operate effectively at both regional management team and global divisional levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to translate financial, commercial, and market data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and support senior stakeholders.
- A balanced profile: both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor.
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a complex, international matrix environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP; familiarity with Power BI and AI tools is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
