£32,104 per annum

A quick look at the role.

As part of the site operations team, you’ll be responsible for safely operating the Baler and associated Fixed Plant equipment within the facility, as well as occasional use of the FLT and Loading Shovel. You’ll maintain high 5S housekeeping standards around the Baler area, complete daily bale counts and defect checks accurately, and ensure all work is carried out in line with company health and safety procedures.

Your core responsibilities.

• Operating Baler / Fixed Plant within the facility and occasional FLT and Loading shovel
• To maintain good 5S standards in and around the Baler
• Work to company health and safety standards
• To complete company paperwork including daily bale counts and defect checks

Requirements

Our essential requirements.

• Experience of operating fixed plant within an industrial environment
• A proactive person who has good organisational skills
• A good timekeeper, team player but with the ability to work independently
• Awareness of health & safety regulations
• Experience within the waste / recycling industry would be an advantage.
