The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, motivates teams to exceed goals, and brings a strong foundation in healthcare billing — ideally from hospital or physician revenue cycle operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and accuracy.
    • Monitor payer trends and denial patterns to develop targeted resolution strategies and improve collections performance.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and clients to ensure consistent communication, transparency, and issue resolution.
    • Serve as an escalation point for complex claims and client concerns, ensuring quick and effective outcomes.
    • Prepare and deliver performance reports and operational updates to executive leadership.
    • Promote a culture of energy, motivation, and continuous improvement, empowering team members to take ownership of their work.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    •

      • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
      • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
      • Hands-on experience in hospital or physician billing, insurance follow-up, denials, or AR management.
      • Proven ability to analyze metrics and improve processes through structured problem-solving.
      • Skilled at balancing assertiveness and empathy when leading teams and managing client relationships.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with billing/claims systems.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to motivate and influence others.

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

      • Assertive, confident communicator with strong decision-making skills.
      • Passionate about driving performance and accountability in a team environment.
      • Naturally process-oriented and improvement-focused, always seeking a better way to operate.
      • Energetic, hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in fast-paced settings.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Office-based role requiring long periods of sitting and regular use of standard office equipment (PC, phone, keyboard, etc.).
