Summary: The Trainer, Clinical Health plays a key role in ensuring clinical excellence across Tapestry 360 Health. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for Medical Assistants (MAs) and Care Team Coordinators, supporting their skill development, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards.
The Trainer also supports the employee health program, ensuring that clinical staff maintain required immunizations, certifications, and safety compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive clinical competency and training program for MAs and NIMAA program.
- Deliver hands-on, classroom, and virtual training for new and existing clinical staff on clinical procedures, infection control, documentation, and point-of-care testing.
- Partner with clinical leadership to develop and update policies, protocols, and workflows that improve patient care efficiency and quality.
- Conduct chart audits and competency evaluations to ensure compliance with Tapestry 360 Health standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as an AthenaOne EMR Super User and provide ongoing EMR training and troubleshooting support.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership on performance feedback, coaching, and development plans for clinical support staff.
- Maintain and track employee health records, ensuring compliance with immunization, TB, and annual physical requirements.
- Participate in organization-wide quality improvement initiatives and cross-departmental projects that enhance patient experience and clinical operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
- National Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, NCMA) required.
- CPR certification required.
- Associate degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or community health setting required.
- Previous training or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with AthenaOne EMR or similar system required.
Skills & Certification:
- Strong facilitation and communication skills with ability to train diverse adult learners.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Salary and Benefits:
- Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience and qualifications.

This range represents the potential compensation for the role based on experience, tenure, and performance over time.
Most new employees can expect an initial offer within the lower portion of the range, reflecting factors such as prior experience, internal equity, and organizational budget. Salary progression is evaluated regularly to support professional growth and retention.
