Bar Manager

Employment Type: Seasonal (October – December)
About Miracle on Maryland
Miracle on Maryland is a Christmas-themed pop-up bar bringing over-the-top holiday décor, festive cocktails, and nonstop cheer to downtown Indianapolis. We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and ensure smooth day-to-day operations during the busiest (and most fun) season of the year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all bar operations including staffing, scheduling, and training
- Lead a team of bartenders, barbacks, and support staff
- Ensure consistent execution of Miracle’s signature holiday cocktails
- Manage inventory, ordering, and par levels for spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies
- Uphold service standards, guest experience, and safety protocols
- Troubleshoot bar issues (POS, batching, equipment) and provide hands-on support
- Work closely with the FOH team to deliver seamless service
- Contribute to a positive, festive, and team-oriented culture
Qualifications
- ATC Employee Server Permit
- 2–3+ years of bar management or lead bartender experience (high-volume preferred)
- Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, batching, and bar operations
- Ability to train and motivate a seasonal team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (this is the season!)
- Positive, flexible, and ready to spread holiday cheer
Compensation
- Competitive seasonal pay 40/hr+ (based on experience)
