SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities are providing school level technology deployment and installations (PC, Chromebook, projector, document camera, printer, phone); responding to technical issues, questions, and requests from staff and students, and ensuring optimal technology uptime. The technician may be requested to troubleshoot, support, and swap wireless access points, network switches, phones, battery backup unit, security cameras, and repair network data drops. The technician typically works up to 25 hours per week, year around.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Chromebook & PC deployment & recovery, inventory management, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use basic tools for the repair and installation of technology hardware.
- Will respond to phone calls, customer walk-ups, e-mail, and incidents requesting technical support.
- Deployment and troubleshooting of phones, wired and wireless client connectivity, and printer and copier functionality.
- Onboarding (white listing) of BYOD devices to Wi-Fi network.
- Opening, working / updating, and closing technology support incidents in ITSM platform.
- Create and update documentation and record solutions to assist with knowledge transfer.
- Communication with school leaders, teaching staff, and NHA Service Center support staff.
- May involve travel to other schools within a 25-mile radius.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. The list below represents the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position.
- Previous experience building, repairing, or troubleshooting client technology preferred.
- Current college students pursuing a technology degree preferred.
- Cisco, Microsoft, or Google training or certifications are a plus.
- The ability to work most weekday mornings is expected. An 8:00 AM start time is ideal, but some flexibility can be allowed with previous notice to the team lead.
