Purpose of Job
The marketing assistant provides administrative support for marketing department, assists with marketing projects, customer service for marketing and for sales. Responsible for the administration and execution of specific marketing services and programs designed to support lead generation, listings and other sales activities.

- The Marketing Assistant provides marketing support, which may include any of the following duties or responsibilities: (95%)
- Customer Service: Provide customer service to sales associates relating to advertisement placement, billing, and internet profile pages.
- Process advertising requests. Process sales associate open house, picture, and line ads. May organize yellow page, bus, and bench advertising. Collect ad forms from agents, proof for accuracy, collate, edit when necessary, copy and submit to appropriate media for publication.
- Develop and maintain virtual tours and still photography utilized for sales associate web sites.
- Develop, track and bill property fact sheets requested by sales associates.
- Coordinate various marketing programs. Provide backup, consultation support and project assistance to other members of the marketing team.
- Responsible for timely submission to accounting of all sales associate/sales office charges for marketing services requested and rendered.
- Coordinate sales associate photos. Process and code bills. Maintain marketing distribution list, coordinate mailings and process applications. Manage databases and prepare reports. Coordinate materials necessary for career nights and other meetings. Provide color copy support.
- Manage marketing inventory items including inventory billing, fulfillment and utilization. Order and maintain department supplies.
- May assist in organizing company events.

Qualifications
Education:
- Two year degree in communications, marketing or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Experience:
- Two plus years of related experience in a marketing department, agency or consumer-focused organization, with emphasis in sales and marketing program support.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel and Access.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail orientation.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- A customer service focus and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
