JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting into the Plant Manager the Quality Control Technician is responsible for final inspection and quality control efforts, ensuring finished products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform daily quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Follow established quality procedures, inspection methods, and testing protocols as directed by the Sr. Quality Technician.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using 3D scanners and standard metrology tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and customer requirements.
- Accurately document inspection results, non-conformances, and any deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to report quality issues and support resolution efforts.
- Assist in identifying and documenting non-conformances and participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions as assigned.
- Maintain inspection records, ensure material traceability, and adhere to ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance requirements.
- Support PPAP documentation efforts by collecting and reporting inspection data, including dimensional reports and control plans.
- Perform in-process and final product audits as required.
- Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of inspection and scanning equipment; log calibration activities as directed.
- Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing requested documentation and inspection records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing defects, rework, and scrap.
- Promote quality awareness by following good manufacturing and inspection practices on the production floor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Technical degree in Quality, Engineering or related field and five years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, or equivalent education and experience.
- Hands on experience with 3D scanning and metrology tools.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- ASQ certification (CQT, CQI or CQE) preferred.
