First National Bank of America is adding an Information Technology Risk Associate to the Risk Team. This role serves as the first line of support for information security tasks and responsibilities. The Information Technology Risk Associate requires a proactive mindset, with a strong emphasis on applying the principles of Least Privilege and Segregation of Duties. Success in this position depends on the ability to follow and give clear directions, attention to detail, and the ability to not only identify issues but also to develop and implement effective solutions. Clear and efficient communication is essential, as the support function is often reactive and may require availability outside standard working hours to respond to incidents and urgent requests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line triage of problems for adhoc Infosec tickets
- Monitor and disposition alerts in ticketing system, escalating as necessary
- Assist in performing user access reviews according to Identity and Access Management procedures
- Maintain KPI dashboards and reports for management
- Contribute to department knowledgebase and documentation
- Complete job specific training and professional development, i.e., certifications, webinars
- Report or escalate any detected failures of Security Policy or configured controls
Qualifications:
Required
- Must be able to effectively work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure to ensure timely and high-quality resolutions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications, analytical, and presentation skills
