The Vice President of Operations Supply Chain is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, and inventory management. This role ensures operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction while driving innovation and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Your role in our team
- You will develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with overall corporate objectives.
- You will lead cross-functional operations, including manufacturing, engineering, planning, procurement, materials management, facilities, and maintenance.
- You will drive digital transformation and automation initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- You will oversee end-to-end daily operations, including sourcing, production, warehousing, and transportation.
- You will implement and monitor KPIs to track performance, quality, cost, and service levels.
- You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability standards.
- You will negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships, including suppliers, logistics providers, and third-party partners.
- You will identify and mitigate supply chain risks, while proactively resolving issues and introducing best practices.
- You will collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Product, and SIOP) to align supply and demand with customer needs.
- You will manage budgets and drive cost-control initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
Your profile
- You are an individual who can communicate, energize, and motivate people
- You have strong leadership skills, with an ability to build trust, provide direction, alignment, and vitality to execute with excellence and achieve extraordinary results.
- You’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- You have 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations leadership.
- You have proven experience in enterprise supply chain management, including manufacturing footprint optimization and facility network design.
- You have knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- You are experienced with ERP systems, data analytics, and supply chain technologies.
- You bring strong financial acumen with experience managing significant budgets and cost reduction programs.
- You are excellent at negotiation and contract management skills.
- You are experienced with mergers, acquisitions, and integration activities.
- You have strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, multi-year initiatives.
- You are able and willing to travel to 35%
