Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you will find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.
The Team:
The Agency Management Team is responsible for performing the Facility and Security Agent roles on all EMEA Syndicated Credit Agreements where Bank of America entity is either the main Facility Agent or a Sub Agent. The team scope cuts across both syndication, export credit finance and leasing deals.
The team is an integral part of the Global Syndicated & Corporate Lending Operations for the Bank.
Role Description:
This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing funding QA processes and documentation in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include working on routine to more complex scenarios and supporting the Documentation and Fulfilment operations for EMEA Leasing business line.
Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary contact/coordinator for internal and external business partner and issuer requests and inquiries related to moderately complex syndicated or club credit facilities for which Bank of America acts as Administrative Agent.
Supporting the Regional Ops Head and your team lead as one of the senior persons on the team, responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions.
Reviewing all credit agreements where we are agent in line with the Bank risk appetite and Loan Market Association agency provisions.
Responsible for communication and compliance with regulatory
requirements.Acting as first point of contact for clients of the business and lenders and liaising between business lines with particular focus on leverage finance partners and debt trading.
Working on routine to more complex documentation as
assigned and interfacing working with company vendors, legal counsel, line partners, and clients to ensure world-class documentation accuracy.Reviewing loan agreement drafts for clarity, agency issues, and operational feasibility to ensure that final documents are workable for all parties; closing new deals, amendments, waivers, and consents.
Proactively and strategically resolving complex issues related to portfolio
Taking the role of a subject matter expert within the team.
What we are looking for:
Advanced knowledge of credit products and syndication process and governing documents, including highly complex unsecured/secured credits and troubled deals.
Experience with the Syndicated Loan environment and process
Knowledge of GCB/GIB environment, organizational alignment, strategic priorities
Cross Border and/or Multicurrency lending or operations experience
Skills that will help:
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities
Ability to manage timelines, display sound judgment, and identify points for escalation;
Collaborative, experienced in working with business partners to achieve goals and successfully complete projects;
Previous agency management and/or document experience specific to the syndication loan market space.
Experience of acting as a point of escalation.
Loan IQ experience would be an advantage.
