EMEA DRP Planner (S3)
We are hiring for an EMEA DRP Planner to join our team on a 24 month Fixed-Term Contract. This role will be based in Pencoed.
Your New Role:
As the EMEA DRP planner you will be responsible for planning and coordinating end-to-end finished goods supply across the network, translating demand forecasts into executable plans, optimizing inventory and capacity, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement to meet service, cost, and efficiency targets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acquire demand forecasts for all FG inventory consuming events (sale, NPI, R&D, etc.) and translate those forecasts into a network supply plan aligned with the business strategy.
- Plan finished goods requirements using SAP and APO. This includes projecting inventory levels, calculating appropriate safety stock levels, and reporting deviations from projected inventory targets.
- Interface with manufacturing and/or external vendors to develop and coordinate supply, place purchase orders and track incoming supply.
- Interface with the warehouse and transportation teams as needed to support day to day operations.
- Develop mid/long term Rough Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) considering current and future manufacturing constraints to maximize manufacturing efficiency while minimizing working capital costs.
- Maintain systems, including SAP APO SNP, to drive appropriate net requirements for production and purchasing of finished goods, including network planning parameters such as lead times, safety stock, replenishment quantities, order cycle times, product life cycle management, etc.
- Develop monthly S&OP input (medium or long term network supply plan and working capital projection), working with cross functional S&OP team to evaluate multiple options, communicating impacts of trade-offs to cost and service where demand and supply imbalances exist.
- Manage key risks and opportunities associated with demand variation as well as capacity and material constraints. The role will also provide input into longer term capacity investment and sourcing decisions.
- Achievement of metric targets for supply chain: inventory, scrap, OTIF / LIFR, etc.
- Support ongoing continuous improvement activities for the Network Supply Planning and S&OP processes by analyzing network supply performance and identifying opportunities to optimize inventory, reduce obsolescence across the network, optimize customer service and maximize production efficiency.
- Back up for partnered Network Planner.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- ERP: SAP good knowledge
- Excel & Data Handling -Strong ability to manipulate large datasets, pivot tables
- Reporting & Dashboards: Ability to build and interpret supply/demand reports.
- Soft skills: Proactiveness in spotting risks early; Adaptability to changing priorities; Collaboration mindset
- Inventory Management: Safety stock, reorder points, days of supply, expiry management
