What distinguishes you as our ideal Digital Content Manager?

As our ideal candidate, you will come from a power tools or construction background. You will be able to demonstrate proven graphic design, videography, photography and technical copywriting skills. You will also require:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Adobe suite especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro
  • Previous experience in photography and/or videography to ensure excellent understanding of content production
  • Data Driven Mindset
  • Comfortable working within a CMS to update the content of the website
  • Proven online footprint with relevant digital projects (e.g. website, social media channels)
  • Excellent organisational, project planning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in copywriting with good knowledge of ‘On-Page SEO’ to ensure that all digital content can be crawled by search engines (copy, images, videos,)
  • Agency management experience to ensure that deadlines are met, and all work is completed in accordance with the brand guidelines
  • Display a user focused, service provider attitude and be a positive brand ambassador
  • Engage in the process of improving our business processes by contributing ideas and suggestions
  • Communicate proactively and effectively at all levels, both externally and internally
  • Be determined, energetic and flexible
  • Computer literacy with an excellent working knowledge of MS and authoring software applications, especially PowerPoint

What will I be responsible for?

As a Digital Content Manager, you are required to work with the Professional Power Tools team to support digital innovation and training strategies. You will produce and review up-to-date and relevant content across all user marketing platforms including the website, social media and reviewing influencer activities. This will involve:  

  • Filming, editing and photography of content for use in training, advertising and generating digital content wherever required to meet objectives
  • Strong focus on the Youtube platform including the running and production of regular LIVE streams
  • Copywriting social media posts, SEO friendly website content, PowerPoint presentations and product information
  • Designing online display banners, posters, merchandise and brochures in jpg/png/ttif/gif/html5 formats to ensure relevancy to target audience
  • Involvement in the development and deployment of AR, VR and mixed reality content within user facing projects
  • Design and produce 2D and 3D animations where required to support interactive educational material and other digital media
  • Designing, gathering & distribution of content for any PR activities or Publications
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating existing video content within the Bosch Professional YouTube channel to ensure the high standards required
  • Ensuring that all content is relevant for our target user groups within the Bosch Professional Power Tools market
  • Liaise with central teams to ensure consistency of content across local/central and between business units on UK user facing channels
  • Being the local point of contact for reviewing the translations of marketing materials
  • Review of the content developed by others for consistency and creativity and to provide feedback
  • Reporting and analysis of social media platform metrics

Cross divisional support with live broadcast events and pre recorded content

Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge using Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop
  • Advanced filming, editing and photography skills
