POSITION OVERIVEW:

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing technical maintenance, repair and installation functions according to all safety and Company guidelines.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance requirements as assigned.
• Perform a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to HVAC systems, plumbing, doors, windows, roofs, and other building parts.
• Perform press safety inspections.
• Responsible for completing safety related/OSHA compliance projects
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Support 6S initiatives.
• Carry Company cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
• Overtime as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years experience working in Industrial Maintenance
• Proficiency on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting and programming robots
• Working knowledge of all OSHA required standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift, carry, push and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
