The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart/state preschools. Typing certificates from other credible organizations may be accepted. (Must include letterhead and authorized signature) and must be attached to application prior to application deadline. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES WILL BE ACCEPTED
*Completion of the Target Success Sketch is required. An application with an incomplete Target Sketch questionnaire may subject applicant to disqualification. If you have not taken the Target Sketch questionnaire, a notification will appear after you submit your application through Edjoin.
Salary Info
$23.88 Hourly Salary + 5% Bilingual Stipend
Comments and Other Information
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The ability to type 45 wpm. Graduation from high school and three (3) years of increasingly responsible clerical experience involving public contact. One (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and Google Docs. Experience assisting in the scheduling and coordination of IEP meetings is desired.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of a site administrator, provide clerical support to District and school site staff to schedule Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings; compile, prepare, organize, maintain, and distribute documentation; translate communications between personnel and non-English speaking parents and members of the community.
This recruitment will serve to establish a 3 month eligibility pool for future vacancies throughout the district.
