As the United Kingdom Delivery Team enters its 4th year of working alongside the Peruvian Government in the delivery of over $5Bn of social and flood infrastructure, we are expanding. We are searching for a Design Manager to support our Integrated Solutions Delivery Assurance team through this next exciting period of growth.
In the next year, we will be supporting our client deliver a 5-fold increase in the volume of works compared to the previous year, with construction starting on 7 city drainage schemes, 17 river defence projects and unique reforestation and early warning systems projects.

You will guide daily activities of the team of design management resources for project/s
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of design management to deliver key strategic outcomes & sub-function KPIs, directly influencing strategic development.
You will be a point of contact for client design issues, ensuring relationships are managed and maintained.

You will manage the implementation of design management systems, processes and protocols to meet statutory, legal, and contractual requirements.

You’ll need to have:

You’ll also have
Membership of RIBA,MICE,CIBSE,CIOB, RICS,CIAT or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the xxx sector.
Construction and consultancy expertise.
Knowledge of Building Safety legislation, Building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments and Health & Safety legislation.
Experience of working in large, diverse teams.
Experience of developing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on
