NEEDED URGENTLY FOR 2025-2026 Temporary Contract, Head Start, Educational Specialist presso Montebello Unified School District

This classification is an 8 hr, 5 days a week Mon-Friday, position 185 days plus 20 additional factor days to be completed during the school year. Please Note: this position is funded through Restricted (categorical) Head Start Funds and positions may be renewed thereafter based on availability of funds.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION • A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field, including three (3) semester units of supervised field experience. Possession of or be eligible for a Child Development Teacher Permit. • Two Years (2) of full-time experience working or volunteering, in a child development program. • Fluency in English and a second language, preferably Spanish. • Possess and maintain current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certifications
