Lewis-Palmer School District 38 in Monument, CO, is looking for a Payroll Generalist to begin immediately. Must be willing and able to run a monthly payroll for a school district. Must be able to audit employee electronic time tracking for hours worked and correctness, provide accounting for payroll and related reconciliations, work independently to communicate with all levels of employees on sensitive and confidential issues. This position prefers a degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, with a working knowledge of payroll best practices and knowledge of federal and state regulations. Applicants must have the ability to prioritize and be proficient in computerized payroll software to include a working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, databases and email. Previous experience working in a school district or governmental setting is preferred.
